Know all men by these presents that I Moses Auvenshine of the County of Car-roll and State of Tennessee Am held and finely bond unto Wm F Pace of the County and State above named in the just and full sum of two thousand & Eight-hundred dollars for which payment will and truly to be made I find my-self my heirs and administrators jointly and Severly and finely by these pre-sents Sealed with my seal and dated this August the 10th 1874 the condition of the above obligation is due that if the above bound W Auvenshine and heirs Executors and administrators Shall will and truly convey or Cause to be con-veyed unto the Said Wm F Pace his heirs and assigns by way of a general War-ranty deed on or before the last payment which payment is to be made as fol-lows the first payment is

due the 25th of December 1874 for four hundred dollars the second payment due the 25th of December 1875 for four hundred Dollars the last due December the 25th 1877 for two hundred dollars.   The following described tract of land being and lying in the County of Carroll and State of Tennessee and 23rd Dis-trict and bounded on the East by the lands of J T Pace On the South by A Phil-lips On the West by John Crutchfield and heirs on the North by Elizabeth Crutchfield and T A French  Known as part of the Cruchfield land and on the head Waters of Cherry Creek Containing One hundred and two acres by Survey then and in the case the above obligation to be voice and of no Effect-Else to remain in full force and virtue in law and Equity  In Witness where of I have Set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written assigned and sealed

Know all men by these presents that I E W Williams Admr of Moses Auven-shine decs by virtue of the power in me vested by law and in compliance with a bond executed by the said decd  in his lifetime on the 10th day of August 1874 and Registered in the Registers Office At Huntingdon on the     day of April 1877 I hereby transfer and Convey to W F Pace his heirs and assigns forever for the Consideration mentioned in Said Bond to wit $700 oo paid to the decd in his life time $300 oo to C F Phillips & the remainder paid to me the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged of
$1400 oo  All that Certain piece or parcel of land Containing 102 acres more or less . Situated and lying in Carroll County Tennessee and Know and described as follows Beginning On a Stake Blackjack pointers the N W corner of this tract runs thence South 122 poles to a Stake Blackjack and Post Oak pointers Phillips Corner thence East 5  N 148 poles to a Stake White Oak pointers thence North 103 poles to a Stake Blackjack and Oak pointers thence West 145 poles to the beginning Containing 102 acres be the Same more or less  the title to which land I hereby bond the heirs of Said Moses Auvenshine to warrant and forever defend to the Said W. F. Pace his heirs and assigns against the lawful Claims of all persons whomsoever as fully and effectually as they Could be bond by the Said Moses Auvenshine Decd had he executed this deed himself in his lifetime According to power in me vested

Know all men by these presents that We Wm F Pace and wife Polly A Pace have this bargained and and Sold and do hereby transfer and convey to Wm Auvenshine and his heirs forever for the consideration of Seven hundred dol-lars to us in hand paid for a tract or parcel of land in the State of Tennessee Carroll County and district Number 16 and On the head waters of Cherry Creek containing fifty one acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows   Beginning on the South East Corner of the Same at a Stake the North East Cor-ner of A Phillips with Blackjack pointers runs thence North with J T Pace West boundary 103 poles to a Stake the South East Corner of Tom A French with Post Oak and blackjack pts thence West with Said Frenchs South boundary 74 Seventy fore poles to a rock in the Crutchfield old field thence South 112 poles to a Stake with pointers thence East 75 poles to the beginning  To have and to hold the same to the Said Wm Auvenshine his heirs and assigns forever  We do covenant with the Said Wm Auvenshine that we are lawfully Seizece of Said land to have a good right to convey it and the Same is unencumbered  We do further covenant and bond ourselves our heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the Said Wm Auvenshine his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever this April the 14th 1877
